Bringing Transparent Digital Visuals to НТВ, One of Russia’s Leading Federal TV Channels
NTV (НТВ) is one of Russia’s leading federal television channels, known for its news coverage, current affairs programming, and large-scale live broadcasts. Headquartered in Moscow, the channel reaches millions of viewers across the country. The NTV headquarters media center functions as a digital broadcasting and collaboration complex, bringing together news production, program control, conference rooms, and multimedia presentation spaces under one roof.
MUXWAVE supplied a transparent LED display solution for this project, integrating digital content into the building’s glass architecture.

Transparent LED Displays Integrated Into a Multi-Level Media Collaboration Space
Inside the NTV media center, 14 conference rooms line multi-level circular corridors in a theater-style layout. Transparent LED screens and dynamic lighting work together to turn the space into a digital communication environment.
From the outside, the installation looks like several high-definition, high-brightness displays suspended within the building’s structure. From inside the meeting rooms, the screens stay transparent enough to let natural daylight through and keep sightlines open.
The moving visual content blends into the space rather than interrupting it, giving the media center a clean, modern look.

MUXWAVE M Series Holographic Invisible LED Technology
The project used a glass-mounted installation method: the LED display surface is attached directly to the glass, which keeps the overall weight low and the appearance nearly invisible. The installation used the MUXWAVE M Series Holographic Invisible LED Screen with a 3.91mm pixel pitch and a panel thickness of just 1.8mm.

Key Technical Features
- Pixel Pitch: 3.91mm
- Panel Thickness: 1.8mm
- Transparency Level: 92%
- Glass-Adhesive Installation Structure
- High Brightness and High Contrast Performance
- Lightweight Transparent Display Design
Natural sunlight passes through the building atrium into the central interior space, and the transparent LED screens maintain good image contrast and color even under strong ambient lighting. The result is a media environment where architecture, daylight, and digital content work together without competing with each other.

Creating Natural Integration Between Digital Content and Architecture
Traditional LED displays visually block architectural elements. Transparent LED technology takes a different approach: digital media becomes part of the building itself. For media headquarters, corporate environments, and commercial spaces, this approach offers practical benefits:
- Preserves architectural transparency
- Maintains indoor daylighting and visibility
- Adds spatial depth without visual clutter
- Supports smart-building design concepts
The НТВ project shows how transparent LED technology can change the way digital communication and physical space interact.
MUXWAVE Continues Advancing Transparent Display Innovation
