Recently, Muxwave successfully completed and illuminated the street-facing window display project for POP MART’s first-ever K-POP themed flagship store. Located in the bustling Myeongdong district of Seoul, South Korea, the project features Muxwave’s M Series holographic invisible screens with a total display area of 63 square meters. By combining creative IP-based content with advanced transparent display technology, the installation serves as a benchmark case for retail storefront upgrades across East Asia.

Situated in one of South Korea’s most vibrant commercial districts, the flagship store experiences heavy pedestrian traffic throughout the day and night. The street-facing glass façade is also exposed to direct sunlight, dust, and varying environmental conditions. To address these challenges, the Muxwave M Series was specifically engineered with long-term outdoor-facing applications in mind, ensuring stable performance and reliable operation even under prolonged sun exposure.

Innovative Display Solution for an Immersive K-POP Retail Experience

The three-story flagship store was designed to create dedicated K-POP-themed experiences, including product showcases, performance stages, and interactive photo and music video check-in areas.

The transparent LED displays were directly mounted onto the glass façade facing the main street. The first-floor storefront features a 3.91mm pixel pitch configuration, while the second and third floors utilize 6.25mm pixel pitch displays. Powered by Muxwave’s M Series technology, the installation delivers exceptional image quality while maintaining a virtually invisible appearance when viewed through the glass.

With its transparent and frameless design, the display integrates seamlessly into the architectural structure without obstructing natural light or visibility, preserving the store’s open and inviting atmosphere.
